Youth Empowerment Solutions Initiative (YES Africa) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building the capacity of young people, advocating for their participation in democratic governance, and ensuring the delivery of public services. Founded in 2014 and formally registered in 2016 (CAC/IT/NO 84944), our head office is in Abuja, Nigeria.
With a team of robust and versatile technical and programmatic experts, we effectively pursue our vision and mission. Over the last ten years, we've implemented advocacy campaigns across Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Senegal, and Sierra Leone on governance, elections, youth inclusion, human rights, and peace. We've empowered thousands of young people through leadership development fora.
Our work spans community engagement, capacity building, policy advocacy, and civic education — ensuring that young Africans are not merely spectators but active architects of the societies they inhabit.
YES Africa is positioned to be a leading organization mitigating challenges facing young people in Nigeria and Africa, driving positive change and sustainable development.
